To report a flood

To report an obstruction in the watercourse

If the drain is blocked by leaves or litter on the surface then call your local authority (who you pay your Council Tax to).

If the drain is blocked and is on a trunk road in Suffolk then call 0300 123 5000 or use the highways reporting tool online www.suffolk.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/flooding-and-drainage/highway-drainage/report-a-problem

If the drain poses an immediate danger then call 0345 606 6171

If the drain is on private land it is either the landowners responsibility (if they are the only ones draining in to it) or the responsibility of the water authority - Anglian Water 03457 145 145
